November has been a very busy month so far in Room 9. We had ‘Science Week’ from November 13th to 17th where we got to do the  ‘Water with Skittles’ and the ‘Dancing raisins’ experiments. On Wednesday we went on a trip to Tallaght library to see loads of interesting experiments done by an experienced scientist.

We also took part in the Sport Against Racism Ireland (SARI) workshop last Thursday. Abdul and the rest of the SARI team played fun games that allowed us to learn valuable lessons about how discrimination can badly affect how we feel and act. We also learned that we all belong to one race……The Human Race!

We are learning about long division in maths, Britain in geography and Nelson Mandela in history. We also completed art print pictures using black paint and stencils that we constructed ourselves.
