R8 had the best time in town last Thursday on our Heritage Keepers field trip. We are learning about stained glass artists in Ireland and visited Bewley’s on Grafton St to admire the Harry Clarke windows and enjoy a hot chocolate. Then we went on a tour of the National Gallery of Ireland where we saw lots of work by Irish artists as well as stained glass works by Evie Hone, Michael Healy and Harry Clarke. Finally we visited Trinity College where we took part in a children’s literature workshop with Dr Sinead Moriarty.
