We were very lucky to have Zak Moradi visit our school on Monday. He spoke about growing up for ten years in a refugee camp in Kurdistan (Iraq). He described how his family were welcomed to Ireland and how their lives are so different now. He also spoke about the importance of sport, reading and being involved in community events. The pupils, school staff and teachers were very excited to have him visit our school. Thanks so much Zak !
