Last week was Science Week and all of us in room 4 became scientist for the week to carried out a some cool experiments.
Firstly, we have been learning about sound during our science lessons lately so we made our own musical instruments! Drums, flutes, guitars and shakers! Watch out we might just have a new up and coming band on the 3rd class corridor!
On Wednesday we had a workshop about energy where we learned all about renewable energy sources like wind energy. Then we learned how to make our own windmills using only our pencils, a thumbtack and some paper.
The final experiment we carried out was our most successful. We were attempting to make an egg bounce without it breaking. We had to soak our egg in vinegar for a whole week but we were pretty happy with the final result! Take a look at our video to see if our egg bounced or not!
