We had 12 FANTASTIC students on Gold awards in Room 22 for great behaviour, amazing attitudes and super work ethic. As a reward we went to the Breakfast Club to make something delicious for Easter. Ms. Connell was a great help to us.

We made chocolate nests and filled them with eggs and chicks.

First, we measured All Bran and crushed it up to resemble twigs for the nest. We melted and stirred chocolate over hot water and then poured it over the ‘twigs’. We took turns to stir and mix and crush the mixture. When it was covered in chocolate, we put 3 spoonfuls into bun cases and hollowed out the middle. After this, we got chocolate eggs of ALL sorts of colours, and chocolate chicks and placed them inside the nest. Finally, we put them into the freezer to set.
