In our guided reading group with Ms. English, we were reading a non-fiction book called “Getting the Message.” It was all about communication and technology. We learned lots of facts about the printing press and caveman writing. The book was really interesting but the last chapter was a little out-of-date. We decided to write our own new chapter which we called, “Nowadays.” We wrote the chapter together so that the readers would learn more about technology in 2019. We also added our own illustrations and published our chapters. We have added them to the back fo the book for future guided reading. We hope you enjoy our new chapter!
