The Junior Reading Unit writer of the month for December was Maleek Adediran. We have been doing lots of Christmas work and he wrote a brilliant Christmas acrostic poem. My favourite line is “Happy kids playing in the winter snow.” Why don’t you have a read and see which is your favourite line!
Candy canes hanging in my stocking waiting to be eaten,
Happy kids playing in the winter snow,
Reindeer help Santa deliver the presents,
Is Mum eating all the turkey?
So no more turkey for Mum!
Thank you Mum for all you have done for me,
Merry Christmas to you,
And a happy New Year,
Santa is very happy.
