Room 7 has gotten off to a fantastic start to 2019 and we have been so busy! In PE, we’ve been doing gymnastics practicing different balances and movements in pairs which was lots of fun. We also did circuits to work on our fitness and each week tried to beat our personal best!
In art, we have been working with clay and we made clay monster pencil holders – it was lots of fun!
We also celebrated Grandparent’s Day which was brilliant fun! We made lovely poems to thank our grandparents for all that they’ve done for us.
For the next few weeks, we are super lucky as we have Miss Glassheen in teaching us! We’ve been doing really fun activities. For Valentine’s Day, we were given the Loveheart Sweets and we used them to create Valentine’s stories or poems! It was so difficult not to eat them!
We’ve also been fortunate enough to be one of the first classes to be allowed use the Google VR headsets! We travelled to New York, to the coral reefs, India and lots of other cool destinations!
We’ve had such a busy term and we are looking forward to relaxing on our midterm break!
