Girls football match
On the 19/05/22 the girls Football played against
Our Lady Of Good Counsel Girls School , Glenageary.
Ms.Quirke led a warm up and put the girls through their paces. Doneal continued the warm up after Ms.Quirke and the girls practised their foot passes.
The weather was sunny , hot , cloudy and a little bit windy. Kick off started at 1:40 and ended at 2:30.
St.Thomas were wearing their new shamrock rovers jerseys and Our Lady of Good Counsel were wearing yellow , blue and navy .
In the first ten minutes of the first half St.Thomas got a goal thanks to keeley !
Defence-Julia & Kerrie & rukayat
Midfield- Shreya & Kayla m & Kayla & rebecca
Upfront – Kyra & megan
And Lorraine & keeley where coming in and out of mid.
And all the girls had great support during the match and a big thanks to Ms.quirke for organising the match .
Around 33 minutes in the other team got a goal and we were so surprised about it.
Both teams goalies had really good blocks for scoring goal.
Both teams were really good players and really nice to opponents. At the end of the match the score was 1-1 so a draw and we are happy that no team lost 🙂
