Two weeks ago our class (Room 20) went on a trip to the D.S.P.C.A. animal shelter in Rathfarnham.  Joanne was kind enough to arrange it for us and she drove us there on her double decker bus.  The D.S.P.C.A. is a charity that looks after lost and abandoned animals.  We had such a great time.  We learned all about the great work they do and we saw lots of animals – dogs, cats, rabbits, geese, goats and even a couple of Shetland ponies.  We wanted to bring them all back to school with us!  Ms. Doyle adopted her two kittens from the animal shelter so it was great to see where they came from. If you ever get a chance to go, we highly recommend a visit. Here is a video of our trip, we hope you enjoy it!
